Location:Â Saugerties, NY
Pay:Â $20/hour BOE
Job Type:Â Full Time, Temp with Potential for Perm
Schedule:Â Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm with Occasional OT / On Call Hours
Job Description:
The Building Maintenance position will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following job duties:
Responsible for general building maintenance
Upkeep on all janitorial needs and weekly cleaning maintenance
Outdoor seasonal dependent maintenance for building groundsÂ
Snow removal/maintenance
Lawn mowing/landscape maintenance
Interface and coordinate with contractors
Minor repairs to desk, tables, and heavy lifting
Periodic quality checks on building systems such as HVAC, heating, electrical and coordination of maintenance and repair if necessary with contractors
Responsible for property management and maintenance for residential student buildings including repairs, upkeep, and seasonal maintenance
Regular periodic on call duties as scheduled
Job Requirements:
Valid NYS Driver’s license (CDL is a plus)
Working knowledge of practices, tools and materials used in the cleaning, maintenance, and repair of buildings and equipment including snow removal, lawn mowers, etc.
Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions
Willingness to perform routine manual work
Manual Dexterity
Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the job
