- Status: Temp to Perm
- Location: New Paltz, NY
Currently seeking a motivated individual to fill our second-shift Industrial Mechanic/Facilities Worker position in New Paltz, NY.
Responsibilities Include:
- Working with multiple pieces and types of equipment
- Troubleshooting programmable controllers
- Rebuilding complex gear trains
- Repairing A/C and D/C drives
- Lifting and handling equipment
- Maintaining warehouse storage and cleanliness
- Complying with safety precautions and best practices
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will either have prior mechanic experience or the ability and passion to learn on the job. We take pride in giving our employees the opportunity to grow and develop, so we encourage all candidates to apply!
- Two-year technical degree and/or equivalent experience in the corrugated industry
- Ability to read electronic schematics and mechanical prints
- Good mechanical abilities and math skills preferred
- Must have exceptional productivity and communication skills
- Experience with Excel and Word programs
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
