Schedule: 35 Hours, Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm with a 1 hour meal break
Job Summary:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced office professional to join our client's team in providing initial, and ongoing member support in a Union benefit fund office. The Pension and Annuity Specialist will provide our members with help in understanding retirement options and making informed decisions in their retirement planning while ensuring compliance with the regulations of a Defined Benefit Plan and all of the related administrative tasks.
Job Duties & Requirements:
Monthly check processing and reporting.
Working in conjunction with consultants to calculate monthly benefits.
Communicating with members, professionals and other Unions for accuracy and reciprocity.
Tracking and updating various excel and customized software reports.
Knowledge of ACH / IRS uploads a plus.
Microsoft Office a must Basic knowledge of accounting a must.
Providing back up to other team members as needed.
Ideal candidates will be professional, accurate, detail oriented, caring, quick, discreet, able to pivot.
