Position: Bookkeeper Location: Kingston, NY Pay range:  $25 – 30/hr. Job Type: Direct Placement Schedule: Monday and Wednesday (Part Time 10 Hours/Week)
Requirements:
- QuickBooks
- Background in Accounting
- Ability to work independently
- Relative degree
Position Summary:
- The core function of a bookkeeper is to ensure that all bills are paid on time, transactions are recorded correctly, payroll runs on time and taxes are filed correctly.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for recording daily financial transactions.
- Updating a general ledger and preparing trial balances.Â
- Maintain and file requisite documents for taxation compliance.
- Monitor cash flow and produce financial reports to assist managers in -making strategic decisions.Â
- Running payroll with Paychex and generating invoices for the company.
