Job Description

Job: Accounts Receivable Bookkeeper
Location: Rock Tavern, NY
Pay: $50,000 - $60,000 BOE
Job Type: Full Time, Temp to Perm
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

Job Requirements:

Knowledge of Accounting Principles
Experience with Accounting software
Prior Billing Experience required
Experience with Financial Statements, Journal Entries and General Ledger, Accounts Receivable & Collections, and Bank Reconciliations
Payroll and Payroll Tax experience a plus
Experience with Contracts a plus
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
Strong Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent Verbal & Written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Able to meet deadlines regularly

Job Duties:

Update and manage client contracts
Process Billing
Manage Accounts Receivable and Collections
Bank Reconciliations
Daily Bank Deposits
Transfer Funds
Prepare Financial Statements
Provide support to Payroll and process payroll and payroll taxes when needed
Make adjusting journal entries in General Ledger
Maintain monthly financial and claims status reports
Manage and process tax withholding forms
Troubleshoot balance variances or issues
Assist with Quarterly reporting
