Location – Madison, CT and Rye Brook, NY

Payrate – Starting salary $40,000.00
Schedule – Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Claims Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and processing claims efficiently while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This position requires strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of insurance verifications and insurance laws. Duties
Review and process claims for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all necessary documentation is included.
Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for claims related insurance programs.
Utilize financial software to track claims status and maintain accurate records.
Communicate with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to claims.
Maintain organized files of medical documentation and claim records for easy retrieval and reference.
Stay updated on changes with insurance policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
 Insurance verification processes.
Familiarity with Medicare guidelines and medical documentation practices.
Proficient in using financial software for claims processing.
Understanding of HCPCS, ICD-9 coding systems, and DRG classifications.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in claims processing.
Previous experience in an insurance environment is preferred.
