Commercial Account Executive
Location: Madison, CT and Rye Brook, NY

Salary – 70,000.00 BOE
The Commercial Account Executive in insurance is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, driving revenue growth, and ensuring client satisfaction. They act as the primary point of contact for clients, build strong relationships with insurance carriers, and oversee all aspects of account management, from new business acquisition to renewal and claim handling.Â
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing excellent service.Â
Business Development:
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, securing new clients, and growing the portfolio.Â
Account Management:
Managing existing client accounts, ensuring renewals, handling claims, and addressing any client issues.Â
Carrier Relations:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with insurance carriers, negotiating terms and conditions, and securing favorable pricing.Â
Coverage Expertise:
Possessing a deep understanding of commercial insurance products, including various coverage lines and risk financing options.Â
Industry Knowledge:
Staying up to date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.Â
Required Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to build rapport with clients and careers.Â
The ability to analyze client needs, understand risks, and develop appropriate solutions.Â
The ability to negotiate favorable terms and conditions with carriers and clients.Â
The ability to lead and motivate a team (if applicable).Â
A strong understanding of commercial insurance products, regulations, and market dynamics.Â
Experience and Education:
Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
Several years of experience in the insurance industry, particularly in commercial lines.
May require relevant certifications, such as a Property and Casualty insurance license.Â
