Job:Â Community Engagement & Sales
Location:Â Poughkeepsie, NY
Pay:Â $22/hour plus Commissions
Job Type:Â Full Time, Temp to Perm
Schedule:Â Monday - Friday 9am-5pm plus some evenings / weekends for events
Key Responsibilities:
 Conduct cold outreach, pitches, and follow-ups with prospective sponsors.
Negotiate terms and close sponsorship deals.  Identify and create attractive sponsorship packages tailored to potential sponsors' goals.
Community Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with schools, nonprofits, youth programs, and local businesses to create impactful partnerships and group programs.
Promotions Strategy & Execution: Create and implement promotions, themed nights, giveaways, fan activations, and in-market events that drive awareness and attendance.
Event Activation: Organize and support public-facing events like community days, themed skates, drive-in movie nights, and seasonal experiences.
Partnership Development: Identify and secure cross-promotional partnerships and sponsorships that enhance visibility and community impact.
Marketing collaboration: Provide engaging stories, community updates, and photo opportunities for social media, press, and internal newsletters.  Build on brand awareness and serve as a public-facing representative of our venues at school events, chamber mixers, local fairs, and on-site happenings.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in community engagement, promotions, events marketing, or a related role.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines in a face-paced environment
Availability to work evenings, weekends and some holidays as needed
Strong organizational skills and hands-on attitude
