Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Worker to join our team. This position involves preparing job sites, setting up forms, mixing and pouring concrete, and performing finishing work to meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in concrete construction, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Preparation & Setup
Â
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Prepare job sites by clearing debris, compacting soil, and ensuring level surfaces.
Set up and align forms, molds, and reinforcement (rebar, wire mesh, anchors).
Safely handle and position concrete tools, equipment, and materials.
Â
Concrete Placement & Pouring
Â
Mix, pour, and spread concrete to specified depth and consistency.
Monitor curing times and adjust techniques to maintain proper finish.
Operate vibrators and other tools to compact concrete and remove air pockets.
Â
Finishing & Detailing
Â
Smooth, level, and finish surfaces using hand tools, trowels, screeds, and power equipment.
Apply finishing techniques such as brooming, stamping, edging, or polishing.
Ensure proper curing by applying sealants or coverings as required.
Repair or patch concrete surfaces as necessary.
Â
General Duties
Â
Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
Follow all safety regulations and company procedures.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and contractors.
Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
Qualifications:
Â
Previous experience in concrete work, construction, or a related field preferred.
Knowledge of concrete mixing, curing, finishing, and repair techniques.
Ability to read construction drawings and use measuring tools accurately.
Physically fit to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50–80 lbs. regularly.
Extended periods of standing, bending, kneeling, and working outdoors.
Comfortable operating power tools and heavy equipment.
