Job Description

Position: Food Production
Location: Hudson, NY
Pay: $20/hr (will evaluate after 60 days)
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am to 3:30pm (overtime when needed) May float with other tasks as they get more established with production.

Job Duties:

Production: The goal is to produce a large volume of sausage
Preparing Ingredients: This involves gathering and preparing the necessary ingredients such as ground meat, seasonings, and casings.
Operating Equipment: Sausage stuffers use sausage-making equipment such as sausage stuffers, grinders, and casings.
Stuffing Sausages: The main task is to fill sausage casings with the prepared meat mixture. This requires skill to ensure that the casings are evenly filled without air pockets.
Quality Control: They are responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of the sausages produced. This includes checking the texture, flavor, and appearance of the sausages.
Cleaning and Sanitizing: Keeping the work area, equipment, and tools clean and sanitized to prevent contamination and ensure food safety.
