Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting principles, within the insurance industry.proficiency in software MicroSoft Dynamics 365.This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of our organization, providing insights through accurate reporting, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records by recording day-to-day financial transactions.
Prepare and process payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
Manage journal entries and ensure all entries are properly classified.
Conduct budgeting activities to assist in financial planning and forecasting.
Analyze accounts to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
Reconcile general ledger accounts to maintain accuracy in financial reporting.
Assist with technical accounting tasks, including adherence to governmental accounting standards when applicable.
Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper within the Insurance industry is essential.
Proficiency in accounting software MicroSoft Dynamics 365 is essential.
Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
Experience with journal entries, bank reconciliation, budgeting, account analysis, and general ledger reconciliation.
Knowledge of technical accounting principles and governmental accounting practices is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
