Position: Housekeeping Manager
Job Type: Full Time, Temp to Perm
Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 BOE
Job Location: Hybrid remote and on-site. Candidates MUST live in Ulster or Sullivan County, New York
Schedule: Monday - Friday days with some evenings and rotating weekends.

Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Manager will oversee all aspects of housekeeping operations at our luxury vacation rental business. This position requires a strong emphasis on property inspections, inventory management, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, the ability to manage and motivate a team, and a passion for maintaining high levels of cleanliness and organization. This position will be managing a team of 35-45 housekeepers working at approximately 90 properties located throughout the Catskills, including Ulster, Sullivan, Dutchess, Greene and Columbia Counties in New York.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and organization throughout the property.
- Requires regular travel within the region to conduct on-site property inspections to ensure all properties are well-maintained and meet our high standards.
- Manage inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring that all items are in good condition and stocked as needed.
- Manage schedules for housekeeping staff, ensuring that staffing levels are appropriate for the demands of the business.
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure that all work completed by housekeeping staff meets our high standards.
- Train and motivate housekeeping staff, providing ongoing feedback and coaching to ensure they are performing at their best.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of tasks.
- Manage housekeeping budgets, including labor and supply costs, and make recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a housekeeping supervisor or management role, with a focus on scheduling, property inspections, inventory management, and quality assurance preferred.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Knowledge of housekeeping best practices and cleaning techniques.
- Must have own vehicle.
