Job:Â Maintenance
Location:Â Rhinebeck, NY
Pay:Â $19.31 - $20.31 BOE
Schedule:Â Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm
Job Type:Â Temp with potential to become permanent if a good fit
Position Overview:
Perform basic maintenance and housekeeping tasks in the interest of preserving a therapeutic clinical environment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
Must have competence using computers to communicate and manage assigned Maintenance tasks using online ticketing system.
Must be able to operate both powered and non-powered tools and ground maintenance equipment.
Must be able to climb step stools, ladders and negotiate confined spaces
Electrical: replace outlets and switches, install light fixtures.
Carpentry: repair doors, furniture, holes in walls, painting, rough carpentry repairs on grounds, etc.
Masonry: rough repairs to walls, stone fencing, etc.
Conduct preventive and emergency maintenance of HVAC systems in conjunction with third party vendor.
Must be able to work in all outdoor climate conditions.Â
Assist with a multitude of tasks that arise in a maintenance program.
May be required to assist in any agency needs at any agency sites.
Able to handle any and all custodial maintenance problems that arise.
Must be able to operate Agency motor vehicles and possess a valid New York State Driver’s license with a driving history acceptable to the Agency (No DWI, points, or suspensions on MVR).
Experience:
1-2 years maintenance or similar experience preferred
