Location: Kingston NY
Payrate: 55,000.00
Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
Job Type: Temp to Perm
 Paralegal will provide legal and administrative support to attorneys by conducting research, preparing legal documents, organizing case files, and assisting with case management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information.
  • Draft, review, and organize legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Maintain and manage case files, records, and legal databases.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, depositions, and meetings.
  • File legal documents with courts and government agencies.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure timely filing of legal documents.
  • Summarize depositions, transcripts, and legal findings.
  • Assist with document discovery and evidence management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree; paralegal certification may be preferred.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and court systems.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
