Job:  Physical Therapist Location: Kingston, NY Pay: $45.05 - $67.40/hr based on experience Job Type: Contract (10 months) Part-time, Potential for summer sessions. Schedule: 3 days a week, flexible between Monday – Friday, 8am – 3pm with a half hour lunch break.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Science or Arts in Physical Therapy
- New York State Licensed Physical Therapist.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing supervision and training to department staff (PTA's).
- Provide direct therapy to students.
- Provide direct / indirect classroom consultations as indicated
- Prepare and maintain weekly log notes.
- Write annual progress notes.
- Write annual IEP goals and objectives.
- Perform formal/informal annual assessments of designated students on caseload.
- Write quarterly updates of goals and objectives and annual review reports.
- Prepare, participate, and present at annual review meetings and parent conferences.
- Communicate regularly with caregivers
- Handle correspondence with outside agencies concerning department issues.
- Utilize appropriate behavior management techniques
- Follow students’ behavior plans.
- Demonstrates familiarity with and adheres to State and Federal regulations and policies
- Adhere to policies in the Staff Handbook and Human Resources Manual
Conduct oneself according to the professional requirements of New York State licensure board for P.T.'s.
- Perform gait analysis and gait training
