Job: Project Engineer
Salary: $120,000 - $190,000 BOE
Location: Kingston, NY
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am-4:30pm
Job Summary:
Our Project Engineers manage all aspects of construction approvals, constructability reviews, trade and scope coordination. This position requires a solid understanding of construction means and methods, time management and organizational skills. Any CAD/BIM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:
Compile required submittal log based on contract documents for new projects
Facilitate project contractor/vendor onboarding for new projects
Develop submittal schedule to ensure timely submission of construction documentation including contractor safety documentation,
Review and process submittals for all trades contractor/vendors
Review and process RFI for all trades contractor/vendors
Maintain current set of construction documents including bulletin, sketch and RFI updates
Conduct scope coordination between general trades based on approved submittals and coordination drawings prior to construction
Conduct MEP coordination for all mechanical trades based on approved submittals prior to construction
Attend contractor meetings as requested by the project manager
Assist in scope coordination/constructability issue resolution during construction as requested by the project manager
Other duties as directed by the project manager
Minimum Qualifications:
Baccalaureate degree from and accredited college in engineering, architecture or business administration preferred
8 years of relevant experience in commercial construction for large construction projects
Analytical problemsolving ability with attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills
Working knowledge of CAD/BIM tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office
