Title: Warehouse Worker Location: Highland, NY Pay: $18 per hour, union once perm Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6am-4:30pm or 2:00pm - 12:30am Job Type: Full Time, Temp to Perm Job Summary The Warehouse Worker is responsible for ensuring materials required for production are stored safely and accurately. This role supports production operations by picking, organizing, and moving materials according to production schedules and established procedures. Key Duties and Responsibilities
Accurately pick materials for job orders according to pick lists and product requirements
Notify appropriate personnel of material shortages related to job orders
Maintain an organized warehouse using proper labels and storage practices
Stock and replenish warehouse shelving as needed
Perform ERP system transactions accurately and in compliance with company policies and procedures
Required Knowledge and Skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and understand procedures written in English
Ability to use hand tools and powered equipment
Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
Good written and verbal communication skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to operate powered equipment in accordance with licensing requirements
Ability to frequently stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch
Ability to safely use ladders and step stools
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Use of safety glasses and additional protective equipment as required by law and safety policies
Work Environment
Work is performed in manufacturing and warehouse settings
