<strong>SUMMARY</strong><br>
The Market Manager oversees the overall operations of a media cluster, focusing on driving growth, managing teams, and ensuring the success of sales, programming, and marketing efforts. This leadership role is responsible for meeting performance goals and aligning the organization with its strategic objectives.<br>
<br>
<strong>DUTIES:</strong>
<ul>
&#9;<li>Develop and maintains relationships with purchasing clients
&#9;<li>Drive sales, deliver growth, exceed goals, monetize local assets to deliver exceptional client results
&#9;<li>Actively explore all opportunities to grow local, national, non-traditional, and interactive revenue
&#9;<li>Managing the Program Directors
&#9;<li>Responsible to maintain and grow Nielsen ratings for all stations in the cluster
&#9;<li>Managing all Marketing on and off air
&#9;<li>Managing all NTR, i.e. event and non-air sales
&#9;<li>Total P&L responsibility including managing expenses
&#9;<li>Establish budget and plan for station to attain goals
&#9;<li>Attend / participate in trade shows and community organization events
&#9;<li>Explore various avenues to expand client base and acquire new clients
&#9;<li>Attend weekly sales meeting with department heads
&#9;<li>Other duties may be assigned
</ul>
<strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>Identify, recruit, and develop high-performance sales talent to ensure continued top-line growth
&#9;<li>Conduct periodic meetings with sales staff
&#9;<li>Must adapt easily within a changing environment, demonstrate commitment to organizational transformation and organizational vision
&#9;<li>Handles personnel functions, to include interviewing, hiring, measuring, and evaluating performance, recognizing accomplishments, and termination
&#9;<li>Communicates management policies and procedures to all employees and ensures that they are understood and followed
&#9;<li>Responsible for ensuring the staff is given an opportunity to make a livelihood through training, feedback, and effective direction and management

&#9;<li>Must have a reliable form of transportation
</ul>
<strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT</strong>

&#9;<li>May involve evenings, weekends, or holidays

<strong>SUMMARY</strong><br>
Prospect, market, sell and service advertising to new businesses and build and maintain positive working relationships with existing clients. In addition, you will prepare promotional ideas, write commercial copy and negotiate business contracts and achieve revenue goals.<br>

<strong>JOB DUTIES:</strong>
<ul>
&#9;<li>Sells on-air, digital and event advertising.
&#9;<li>Prospect, market, sell and service advertising to new businesses and build and maintain positive working relationships with existing clients.
&#9;<li>Achieves goals and budgets as set forth by Sales Manager.
&#9;<li>Arrange special programs /promotions to further promote clients and the cluster of stations.
&#9;<li>Attend all client functions that involve cluster of stations.
&#9;<li>Schedules sales calls and submits reports of sales activities.
&#9;<li>Keep up-to-date on cluster of stationâs listener base, rates, personalities, and opportunities in order to better share opportunities with clients.
&#9;<li>Keep up-to-date on all digital tactics, capabilities, and rates to better serve our clientele.
&#9;<li>Identify prospective clients and compile information to fit their advertising needs.
&#9;<li>Ensure proper fulfillment of client advertising opportunities.
&#9;<li>Works with the finance team to ensure timely accounts receivable.
&#9;<li>Creates meaningful connections with at least 10 new prospects per week.
&#9;<li>Follow up with clients within 30 days to ensure satisfaction with the services provided.
&#9;<li>Explores various avenues to expand client base and acquire new clients.
&#9;<li>Attends weekly sales meeting with department heads.
