Position Summary:</strong><br>
The Administrative Assistant will provide essential support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Counseling Center. This position functions as a part of a multidisciplinary team, under the direct supervision of the Clinic Supervisor. The Administrative Assistant will provide all the administrative support to the Clinicians and the Clinic Supervisor.<br>

This role involves managing daily administrative tasks, scheduling appointments and maintaining all staff calendars, facilitating communication between staff and clients, and maintaining accurate records including health insurance information.<br>

&#9;<li>Communicate with supervisor any issues to ensure outstanding customer service.
&#9;<li>Prior to policies renewing, review exposures, gather information the carrier has requested and deliver renewal policies or binders on a timely basis. Also review renewals to determine if better coverage and/or pricing can be obtained with another carrier.
&#9;<li>Work closely with Producers on writing, maintaining & servicing accounts.&nbsp; 
&#9;<li>Process transactions carefully paying attention to detail on a timely basis to minimize the potential for an errors and omissions exposure always THINKING about how a transaction may affect an additional item or portion of the account. 
&#9;<li>Take loss reports and provide assistance on outstanding claims to assist in resolving them as needed.
&#9;<li>Review existing client files to offer and quote additional coverages/exposures in an attempt to round out the accounts.

<strong>Responsibilities:</strong><br>
&bull; This person will work with the Board and staff to develop resources sufficient to ensure the financial health of the organization.<br>
&bull; They will oversee the daily operations of the Home, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures and updating them as necessary.<br>
&bull; Supervise staff, hire aides, provide guidance, training and support to ensure high standards of care.<br>
&bull; Ensure compliance with state regulations and requirements for Comfort Care Homes facilities.<br>
&bull; Maintain and foster professional relationships with city officials, hospice, hospitals, medical providers, religious organizations, and the human services community at large.<br>

<strong>Qualifications:</strong><br>
&bull; RN, LPN, Nurse Practitioner, or BSN in Healthcare, Administration, and or Palliative/Hospice care.<br>
&bull; Proven experience in operations management and planning and demonstrated team leadership, ideally within a residential or home care setting. Familiarity with hospice, palliative care or the Comfort Care Home model is an advantage.<br>
&bull; Experience working with a small community based organization or not-for-profit as an employee or volunteer would be a plus, particularly experience with fundraising.<br>
&bull; A belief in, and a commitment to the Comfort Home model, and a determination to provide compassionate care to residents and their families is essential.<br>
&bull; A demonstrated pro-active approach to problems and problem solving.<br>

<u><strong>Qualifications:</strong></u><br>
&bull; RN, LPN, Nurse Practitioner, or BS in Healthcare, Administration, and or Palliative/Hospice care. Certification is less important than experience.<br>
&bull; Proven experience in operations management and planning and demonstrated team leadership, ideally within a residential or home care setting. Familiarity with hospice, palliative care or the Comfort Care Home model is an advantage.<br>
&bull;Experience working with a small community based organization or not-for-profit as an employee or volunteer would be a plus.<br>

&#9;<li>Perform Realtor, Attorney, Builder and Financial Planner visits and actively market the Associationâs mortgage loan products.
&#9;<li>Attend Chamber of Commerce functions and Community Associations to build relationships and generate a referral system for mortgage loans and banking business in general.
&#9;<li>Meet or exceed annual mortgage loan sales goals.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
&#9;<li>Meet with prospective mortgage customers, conduct interviews, and take mortgage applications.
&#9;<li>Assist in coordinating the scheduling of all closings with closing department, Attorneyâs office and customers and attend closings as needed. 
&#9;<li>Follow up with all loans in process to expedite closings.
&#9;<li>Stay current on changes to applicable regulations, specifically mortgage/loan related regulations and Bank Secrecy Act requirements.&nbsp;

This is a position that requires working on the floor alongside fellow team members in order to fulfill the needs of the bakery.&nbsp; &nbsp;As such, this role requires an outstanding work ethic, a gritty &ldquo;can do&rdquo; attitude, operational excellence, and diligent work behavior.<br>

<strong>JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </strong><br>
Provide nursing services to Hospice patients and their families and to ensure that those services are consistent with the philosophy, goals, objectives and policies of the Agency.<br>
<br>
<strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</strong>
<ul>
&#9;<li>Perform initial and ongoing patient/family, physical, emotional, psycho-social, cultural and spiritual assessments to ensure and coordinate the delivery of comprehensive, holistic services by the Interdisciplinary&nbsp;Team.
&#9;<li>Provide palliative nursing care and symptom control in accordance with physician orders and IDG plan of care.
&#9;<li>Documents and enters into EMR all assessments and interventions before the end of the shift.
&#9;<li>Develop and prioritize the interdisciplinary care plan goals of the patient/family, hospice team and attending physician, prior to team meetings.
&#9;<li>Update the care plan a minimum of every 7 days.
&#9;<li>Provide anticipatory guidance to the patient/family to assist in preparing for coping with events as they occur.
&#9;<li>Teach, supervise and counsel patients/families/care givers regarding physical care, observing return demonstration of procedures as appropriate for safe discharge planning.
&#9;<li>Effectively communicates patient status to family members and or caregivers.
&#9;<li>Revises nursing diagnosis, goals and interventions, expected outcomes, and plan of care based on assessment of data and input of patients and family members prior to the weekly IDG meeting.
&#9;<li>Provide Coordinator or Executive Director staff report on all changes in patient/family condition and POC.
&#9;<li>Follows and upholds all state and federal laws and regulations outlined in the policy and procedure manuals.
&#9;<li>Provide comprehensive end of shift report to oncoming staff.

&#9;<li>Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
&#9;<li>One year of hospice experience preferred.
&#9;<li>Two years nursing experience preferred.
&#9;<li>Venipuncture and IV placement certification preferred
&#9;<li>Minimum one year medical-surgery experience preferred
&#9;<li>Valid New York State nursing license.
&#9;<li>Valid New York State drivers license.
&#9;<li>Valid BLS Certification
